By the end of February 2026, with financial support from Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary REDD+ project, NatureLife Cambodia collaborated with the Mondulkiri Provincial Department of Environment completely installed 50 boundary poles of conservation zone and core zone.
The main objective of this activity is to clearly define the boundaries between conservation zones and core zones for easy on-the-ground identification, and to ensure effective management and protection, and also promote sustainable use of natural resources.

This boundary demarcation also serves as a strategic effort to raise awareness among local communities and people traveling through the area, helping them better understand the zoning system and related regulations.
Notably, through the joint efforts of the Ministry of Environment and NatureLife Cambodia, a total of 287 boundary poles has been installed in Lomphat Wildlife Sanctuary. These include 108 sanctuary boundary poles, 151 core zone boundary poles, and 28 conservation zone boundary poles.
